1 Degree hosts zero waste and circular economy forum

15/05/2016 3:46 PM

News Corp Australia has launched its zero waste goals and film by hosting a lunchtime forum on how businesses and  individuals can take steps towards zero waste and contribute towards a circular economy. The Forum was held at News’ head office building in Sydney and had a large audience of 120 people, including many staff and industry guests. The event was zero waste in every aspect, from all food waste (including compostable napkins) being collected in an organics bin, down to the mechanism for the lucky door prizes and information provided.

The Forum included:

  • A screening of the 1 Degree produced film, ZERO WASTE
  • A Q&A session with several stars of the film
  • Presentations from the Sustainability Managers of H&M Australia, Sydney Opera House and Barangaroo (Lend Lease)
