A new website has been launched at www.vitalplanet.com.au that provides a platform where prominent men and women in science, government and business can present their solutions for tomorrow.
Founder Ms Cathie Agg says the new Vital Planet aims to provide easy access to the perspectives of credible leaders.
"With critical issues, such as climate change, biodiversity loss and resource depletion, it now is more important than ever that we hear solutions from leaders whose information is of the highest quality,'' she says.
Interviews will cover environmental and social/personal issues including:
* Environment and science: Australia's energy and water future, climate change, biodiversity, sustainable agriculture
* Wellbeing and fulfilment: Personal sustainability, values and ethics, fulfilment and contentment in a modern world, health and community
* Sustainable business: Fast-changing consumer climate, sustainable business models, climate change risk reduction and adaptation
Before their interview, Vital Planet invites guests to nominate a dream or vision for the future - a groundbreaking change they would like to see in the world. The dream is presented together with practical action steps to enable others to support a goal that aligns with their values, to help turn it into a reality.
