Environment Councils
Environment Councils operate at each News Limited division to lead and manage environmental compliance and our 1 Degree Initiative. Each Council has between five and 20 members, drawn from different functions across the business.
The Councils are a vital link between the Environment and Climate Change Team (E&CC) and the operations on the ground across the Group. We share ideas about best practice across our business and work together to identify areas where improvements can be made. They are integral to engaging our employees and encourage and promote employee involvement in our 1 Degree program.
