The 1 Degree calculator is based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol – an international guide for calculating carbon emissions. To complete this calculator as accurately as possible, you should have your household energy bills handy. But, if you know roughly how much you spend on your energy, you can calculate an approximation of your carbon footprint.
