Zero Waste at News Corp Australia

In Tim Silverwood’s words, ‘waste isn’t waste until it’s wasted’ – and that’s exactly the principle of zero waste. 1 Degree’s focus for 2016 will be all about communicating this principle internally throughout News Corp Australia as well as externally through our platforms and partners.

News Corp Australia is also striving to achieve zero waste (90% diversion from landfill) in all of its owned premises, and will work its way towards this goal through conducting waste assessments, staff training, behavioral analysis and campaigns and reporting. The company is also well on its way to achieving News Corp’s global goal of zero waste at all print sites by the end of 2016.
